So I had another blog, lesfilsducalamus, and again that was nuked sometime between November 25 and December 1, 2018. I had been taking a sabbatical from it for the month of November 2018, so whatever became suddenly offensive in tumblr’s sensitive eyes did so weeks after the fact of posting. The tumblr “code” is so sporadically and arbitrarily enforced that it’s just too frustrating to continue here. And living without tumblr for a month has helped me to realize that I can live without it permanently.
I really appreciate the support of all those who liked my posts, and my blogs. I wish you the best in the future. And if I did not believe in a God of grace and hospitality, I would wish that those who control tumblr would live eternally in that small, cramped, and airless enclosure that is their spiritual home. That would be churlish, however, and make me like them. Peace to all! – gavin
